Rob SmithThe majority of Smith’s experience comes from retail, which was the foundation of his success as Chief Product Officer for global children’s wear giant, Haddad Brands. Smith oversaw daily operations of the Design, Branding and Sourcing departments, concentrating on product-market growth.  He was instrumental in the company’s strategic expansion into the global market.

Previously, as Executive Vice President of Merchandising for Victoria’s Secret Direct (Limited Brands), he spearheaded the largest direct-to-consumer women’s apparel retailer in the US—the industry’s #1 ranked website. Reversing years of declining sales, he achieved record profits for the company’s apparel business.

For twenty two years he influenced positive changes at Macy’s, most recently as Executive Vice President, Merchandising, Macy’s Inc: a $3 billion business in 800 stores and 45 states. He merged four operating divisions into one with minimal sales loss and exceeded gross margin plan. At Macy’s East he managed Merchandising and Merchandise Execution and merged former May Company divisions. His cosmetics strategy achieved over $1 billion in sales.
