Madeleine Kerr
Madeleine began her career with IBM as a Field Engineer and quickly advanced into Sales as a Senior Marketing Representative. In 1986, IBM sold its retail chain to NYNEX where she became the Marketing Manager of Northern New England, recruiting/mentoring staff, and expanding the service offerings.
In 1989, Madeleine went to work for Marshall’s where she was a key member of the Information Services (IS) organization, working closely with the Executive Team. Madeleine led mission critical projects including the rollout of a new Merchandise Planning System, a Distribution Automation System, and new POS back room applications. Madeleine partnered with the CIO to build and maintain the Strategic IS Plan, and leading by example, implemented essential cultural changes.
In 1994, Madeleine joined Oracle as a Senior Consultant. Madeleine was instrumental in selling and delivering key client engagements in the healthcare industry. Madeleine subsequently joined Private Healthcare Systems (PHCS) as VP of IT and Business Process Re-engineering. At PHCS, Madeleine helped to develop their 5 year Business Strategy Plan and created the Information Systems Plan. Next, Madeleine joined the President of PHCS to launch a new business start-up called InfoMedics. Chartered with commercializing products for the managed care industry Madeleine led the activities to develop InfoMedics’ Business Strategy Plan, secure venture capital financing, while also running IT and the Operation.
Since 1997, Madeleine has worked successfully as an independent consultant and the founder of her own business. Working exclusively with Executive Management, she has helped clients in a number of critical areas including: IT Assessment, Strategic Planning, Program Management Offices (PMO) and managing large scale programs and projects.
In 2005, Madeleine joined C&S Wholesale Grocers, Inc., as the Director, IT Program Management Office. Madeleine led an impactful IT transformation by developing a deep understanding of the culture, and instituting the necessary change programs, achieving significant improvements to IT processes while gaining a high level of acceptance and adoption.
Madeleine has since returned to consulting and is actively engaged with Coach, Chanel and Roche Bros. Supermarkets.
