Steve began his career with the Arthur Andersen Management Information Consulting Division in New York (which later became Andersen Consulting and finally Accenture Ltd.) as a Staff Consultant. Steve rapidly advanced through the organization, becoming a Manager in 1993, an Associate Partner in 1998, and ultimately being admitted to the Partnership in 2000. During his tenure at Accenture, Steve was an Executive team member of the Consumer & Industrial Products Market Unit, Retail Industry, and Supply Chain Service Line practices. Steve led over 25 major client relationships and engagements, several being multi-year major business and systems transformation programs.

In 2006, Steve joined C&S Wholesale Grocers, Inc., as the VP of Supply Chain Systems, providing leadership to a matrix organization of internal IT, business project resources, and consultants including off-shore development. Steve managed an annual budget of $18M in capital and $20M in operating expenses. Steve successfully delivered several fast-track systems projects with aggressive timeframes and budgets. These initiatives enabled inventory reductions of $150M and distribution capabilities helped to deliver significant annualized productivity savings.

In 2008, Steve went to work for Coach as VP of Information Systems, leading the applications team that provided systems for the end-to-end supply chain including product design and development, procurement, sourcing, planning, distribution, transportation, and customer service. Steve was instrumental in developing a 5 year IS Strategy, a new project delivery methodology, and deploying a new Project and Portfolio Management (P&PM) solution. Steve initiated the turnaround of a troubled Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) project that was behind schedule and over budget. Steve led the delivery of a new capacity planning solution for production and finished goods delivery to meet monthly product cycles. Steve also oversaw a $9M capital project to upgrade the SAP Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system, positioning the organization to better leverage the software for global expansion and take full advantage of the latest functions.

Steve returned to consulting in 2009 and has been recently leading a company-wide program at Roche Bros. Supermarkets to transform its buying, selling, and merchandising processes and systems across the home office and all of its store locations. This was one of the major initiatives identified as part of the IT Assessment and 5-year Strategic Plan that MADLAN Specialists, Inc. developed for the client in 2007-2008.
