Kevin MullaneyCEO
Kevin has extensive retail experience in the department store, specialty chain and wholesale channels. His ten years in merchandising leadership experience at Burdines’s (now Macy’s), his CMO experience with a menswear specialty chain, and his seven years at Hilfiger leading the expansion of the brands presence in department stores during the brand’s extraordinary growth period, have prepared him to offer The Grayson Company clients exceptional advice, and hands-on assistance in improving the productivity and profitability of their businesses. David BallPresident
David brings over three decades of retail industry experience to his TGC engagements. Having worked in senior positions with Neiman-Marcus and Marshall Field during intense periods of corporate change, he acquired a unique, broad range of experience and expertise which he applies in projects focused on merchandising processes, systems development, assortment and inventory planning, as well as overall strategy development. Susan Napolitano
Susan has over 20 years of combined experience within human resources, talent acquisition, and executive search. She has a proven track record for managing and executing search projects across retail, digitally native brands, and specialty lifestyle consumer organizations. She began her retail career in the Executive Development Training Program at Macy’s and has held multiple positions in product development, HR, and talent acquisition at Macy’s, Walmart Inc., and Ross Stores. David Ashen
David is unique in the store design world in that he holds degrees in both Architecture and Human Factors Engineering and has drawn on both to bring a balance of design and function to his products. He was a Principal at the prestigious Degrippes Gobe design firm and now leads dash design and partners with The Grayson Company on retail design projects. David has won many design awards and his clients have included, among others, Godiva, Reebok, Yankee Candle, Unilever, and Mitsubishi.

Beth Lavine
Beth is a seasoned executive with over 30 years of hands on retail and wholesale experience. In the since joining TGC, Beth has developed and grown our consumer insights group which performs on a standalone basis but also informs our assessment and due diligence projects. Prior to joining TGC Beth worked in merchandising and planning analytics for retail and wholesale national companies including The Limited, and Macy’s.

Bridget JohnsIn-store Technology & Analytics
Bridget is a proven executive with over 20 years experience across retail technology and analytics. She began her career working with premium brands including L’Oréal, Tiffany & Co., Links of London and Ralph Lauren. At RetailNext, then an upstart retail technology company, she built a leading Sales, Data Analytics, Customer Experience, and Marketing team. As CMO she developed strategic partnerships with Meta, McKinsey, LiveRamp and Mastercard, growing RetailNext into a global technology, software, and analytics provider. Bryan ChandlerTechnology and Innovation
Bryan supports The Grayson Company with state-of-the-art technology and analytics tracking customers and their journeys for retail companies. As an expert in Technology (IT), Cybersecurity, Geographic Information System (GIS) and Research initiatives he provides industry leading consumer and market analytics. Tom Carter
Tom brings over 20 years experience working with leading consumer and technology companies in delivering high-value digital marketing solutions. With over ten years of deep experience in digital analysis, strategy and development, Tom adds a digital perspective to every retail consultant project in which he works. He has also served as a founder in several startup companies and brings entrepreneurial best practices and related digital marketing initiatives to established or emerging organizations.

Terry Darland
Over the last 40 years, Terry has earned an impressive reputation for growing businesses in the luxury cosmetics, skincare, and fragrance industry, progressively excelling in key leadership roles as VP at Estée Lauder, SVP of Christian Dior Parfumes and Cosmetics for North America, and President of LVMH Beauty. As VP of Sales and Marketing at Aramis she grew the Tommy Hilfiger fragrances to become the number one selling brand in prestige.

George Troy
George’s 30+ years of retail experience include working with both men’s and women’s apparel, sporting goods, cookware and home furnishings. He has extraordinary expertise in field management, site selection and lease negotiation, and equal capabilities in merchandising, particularly product development and assortment planning. Bubbles Bott
Bubbles is an accomplished senior executive with 35 years of extensive experience in multi facets of the fashion Industry. Through her career, Bubbles held top level positions in major companies as well as consulted in a newly developed technology company to impact the fashion industry and web platforms. Her career took her to the launch of Tommy Hilfiger with its meteoric rise in the fashion industry. As President of Tommy Hilfiger Womenswear and and Tommy Jeans, Bubbles launched and successfully grew two new divisions to an excess for $400M in 3 years.

Doug Barry
Doug has more than 20 years of experience in cross-border commerce including 17 years at the U.S. Department of Commerce helping companies to enter or expand in the US. Doug has a track record of assisting with market analysis, risk mitigation, regulations, product classification, customs issues, and more. Giancarlo Portale
Giancarlo brings 16 years of enterprise technology experience and a builder’s perspective on AI to The Grayson Company. Following senior technology roles at Condé Nast, Hearst, and 33Across, he founded Naviask AI and built a consulting practice focused on AI strategy, workflow automation, and the integration of AI into business operations. He has completed advanced AI programs at MIT and Northwestern Kellogg School of Management, with focus areas in machine learning, generative AI, agentic AI, and AI applications in business strategy.
