Rachael Mitchell
Rachael began her retail career at The Limited as a part-time cashier while seeking a high school history teaching position. She eventually changed her career path and joined The Limited full-time. In her 10 years at The Limited, Rachael held various positions, cumulating as the Director of Systems and Procedures for the Lane Bryant division where she played a central role in growing the division to over 600 stores and launching a second division, Learner Woman.
From 1989-1990, Rachael was the Director of Operations for Circus World Toys. At Circus World, she worked to make the store organization operationally viable and financially productive, leading to the eventual sale of the company to Kay-Bee Toys.
In 1990, Rachael began consulting with retail companies to redefine store operations, create store and corporate operational manuals, and develop training initiatives. She has also worked with several retailers on point-of-sale selection and implementation. Her organizational skills in conjunction with her knowledge of retail enables Rachael to guide retailers through successfully defining policies and procedures, adopting the unique personality of each retailer.
