Steph has spent 22 years in consumer retail and wholesale / brand businesses and has extensive experience in buying, inventory management, store operations, process improvement, and project management
Steph began her career as a buyer for Weinstock’s Department Store, where she was involved in all aspects of buying including assortment planning, allocation, merchandise presentation, product training, and advertising. In 1991, Steph joined Mervyn’s in Hayward, California; she later provided in-house consulting services to the entire Mervyn’s merchandise division. Her work included developing and delivering training programs and strategy sessions and applying “6 Sigma” and “Continuous Improvement” methodologies to in-house projects. In 1998 Steph became a Manager of Store Operations and eventually a Manager in Supply Chain and Distribution
Steph’s key areas of expertise lie in redesign and data analysis specifically as they relate to developing business practices that increase productivity and reduce operating expense.
Steph earned her degree in Economics from the University of California, Los Angeles.
