She has worked with specialty and department store retailers and spent 6 years in wholesale with Tommy Hilfiger, before moving into the startup environment of e-commerce. Helene was also the principal and owner of a B&B in North Carolina, while maintaining a consulting career in Northern Virginia. She’s worked in both public and private sectors and has extensive knowledge of Museum environments, having led a nearly 2 year strategy engagement for the National Gallery of Art and almost 6 years with the Smithsonian as the General Manager for Sales and Operations.
